We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Leonardo.

The successful candidate will lead the Procurement strategy for the Typhoon programme, developing and implementing effective Procurement plans to achieve business objectives.

  • Develop and manage Procurement strategies for the Typhoon programme, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including programme managers, engineering teams, and suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Procurement plans, ensuring effective supply chain management.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring fair and competitive pricing.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of Procurement principles and practices.

A degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Supply Chain Management, and a professional qualification in Procurement, such as MCIPS, would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and will have a proven track record of delivering Procurement solutions in a similar role.
