We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to join our team at Leonardo. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement strategy and associated procurement plan for the EW Typhoon programme.

This role involves actively working in a matrix organisation structure as the Procurement lead within the Combat Air Sector of our Electronic Warfare (EW) business, reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager.

The successful candidate will deliver at a strategic level procurement strategies for the overarching Typhoon platform (EW), document and implement appropriate procurement strategies with the team to achieve both development and production objectives.

Key responsibilities include owning the procurement strategy and associated procurement plan, leading procurement aspects of the Cost Model creation, supporting specific contractual requirements, and liaising with the internal Operations Supply Chain team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial and legal aspects associated with contracting within the Defence/Aerospace industry, as well as the ability to think outside the box and offer solutions to enable the function to add value and innovation.
