About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher and Meat Specialist to join our team at Graham Eyes High Class Butchers, part of James Hall & Co. As a key member of our butchery department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meat products to our customers while providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of food safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing meat for sale, including bone-out carcasses with excellent cutting standards.
  • Ensuring that all food safety and health and safety regulations are met within the butchery department.
  • Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.
  • Keeping accurate records, managing budgets, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Greeting and speaking with customers, providing advice, answering questions, and handling orders or payments.
  • Controlling waste and optimizing resource utilization.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
