About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our policy and public affairs strategy, developing and implementing campaigns to support people affected by MS, and representing the MS Society at key meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy and public affairs strategies to support people affected by MS in Northern Ireland.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including politicians, policymakers, and other influencers.
  • Develop and implement campaigns to raise awareness and influence policy change.
  • Represent the MS Society at key meetings and events, including parliamentary committees and public forums.
  • Work closely with our MS community to understand their needs and priorities, and ensure that our policy and public affairs work reflects their voices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in policy and public affairs, with a strong understanding of the political and policy environment in Northern Ireland.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective policy and public affairs strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
  • Passion for the work of the MS Society and a commitment to our values and mission.
