About the Job: We are recruiting for a skilled Forklift Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services to our clients in Daventry and surrounding areas.

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum (OTE £45,000+), plus benefits including a company van and fuel card, all travel time and expenses paid, 28 days holiday, pension scheme, and ongoing commitment to training and progression.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in fault finding and repairing forklifts and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to diagnose faults, service and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on forklifts and other heavy equipment
  • Collaborate with customers to identify lifting and handling solutions
  • Actively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience advantageous
  • Full UK Drivers License
