About the Role

The purpose of this position is to develop and deliver Greater Anglia's integrated transport policy and strategy, building and strengthening partnerships with local authorities, other transport operators, and other partners to improve the end-to-end journey experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver our Integrated Transport Strategy
  • Manage key partnerships and secure funding for projects to improve integrated transport links, ticketing, and information
  • Optimize integrated transport policies and practices
  • Champion and embed integrated transport practice within Greater Anglia, promoting benefits across the organization, including with directors and managers
  • Enhance partnerships with local authorities and support community rail and station adoption
  • Engage with stakeholders, participate in media relations, and comply with GDPR policies

Requirements

  • Proven track record and experience in the fields of transport integration, travel planning, and development of multi-modal initiatives, ideally within a local authority or transport operator outside of the rail industry
  • Ability to develop strong relationship building and networking skills, as well as the ability to communicate confidently to a wide range of audiences
  • Project management experience in delivering integrated transport outputs on time and within budget, as well as the ability to prioritize work within tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated capacity to address complex problems in a changing work environment and produce reports to Board level standard
  • Ability to promote and market integrated transport initiatives and a proven track record of working on projects within a railway background would be beneficial
