About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Merco Medical Staffing Limited. As a leading independent healthcare provider, we deliver innovative and holistic care to patients with dementia and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Manage and coordinate the implementation of personalized treatment plans, ensuring activities and interventions are delivered effectively.
  • Patient Assessments and Interventions: Promptly respond to referrals and conduct patient assessments to identify and prioritize needs, delivering tailored interventions individually or in group settings.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage junior staff, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, ensuring clinical practices align with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Communication and Patient Care: Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, carers, and other stakeholders throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Service Development: Lead the implementation of new services at your site and share best practices across locations.
  • Value for Money: Ensure the services provided offer excellent value for money while supporting the site's overall objectives.

Requirements:

  • A BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Relevant experience in your field, particularly within specialized areas.
