About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a hospital setting based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with severe and enduring mental health conditions, as well as those with undiagnosed memory-related illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work across our rehabilitation and recovery wards, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to identify patients' occupational needs.
  • Apply OT assessments and interventions, 1-to-1 with patients and leading group work, to support their engagement in the therapeutic program.
  • Monitor patients' wellbeing, ensuring any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff and documented as necessary.
  • Update clinical records and computerized information systems accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience working in inpatient mental health services or a similar role is desirable.
  • Ability to take on challenges, demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm, creativity, and proactivity.
