**Job Description:**

At Digital Waffle, we're seeking an experienced Cyber Defence Manager to lead our digital defence strategy. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for protecting our IT environment from evolving digital threats.

**Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to safeguard our infrastructure.
  2. Establish, enforce, and regularly update security policies, protocols, and standards.
  3. Manage real-time threat detection, incident response, and conduct vulnerability assessments to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  4. Oversee the deployment of security solutions, collaborating with internal teams to strengthen our defences.
  5. Collaborate with external security partners to ensure high-quality support and proactive risk management.
  6. Regularly report on security metrics and provide insights to senior management.
  7. Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

**Salary:** Up to £75,000 + Bonus

We're looking for a skilled professional with a strong technical background in cybersecurity and a strategic approach. Key qualifications include:

  1. Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  2. Significant experience in cybersecurity management, ideally within a medium-to-large organisation.
  3. Extensive knowledge of security technologies, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
  4. Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
  5. Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.
  6. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
