SEN Teacher Opportunity in North London

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teacher to join our team at a fantastic special educational needs school in North London.

As a SEN teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a KS1/2 class of students with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and supporting them in their learning journey.

The school is easily accessible from around London, with great transport links, making it an ideal location for those living in the area.

Key responsibilities of the SEN teacher role include:

  • Working with and supporting students with ASD, including those who are non-verbal
  • Lesson planning and delivery for students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs
  • Using alternative teaching methods, such as Lego therapy and intensive interaction sessions
  • Communicating effectively with students who are non-verbal or have visual or hearing impairments
  • Helping students develop confidence and independence

Willingness to do personal care is preferred for this SEN teacher role.
