Role Overview

We are seeking an Aspiring School-Based SEN Psychologist to support students with special educational needs in Enfield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with SEN staff and teachers to develop and implement strategies for supporting students with SEN.
  • Assist in identifying students who require additional psychological support and help implement interventions to improve their emotional, social, and academic outcomes.
  • Work closely with teachers and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support sessions to students facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges.
  • Support the creation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral management strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of SEN programs.
  • Work effectively with external specialists, parents, and guardians to ensure the holistic support of each student.
Requirements
  • A strong interest in pursuing a career in Educational Psychology or SEN support.
  • Relevant qualifications in psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEN setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Valid DBS and right to work document.
