We are seeking an Aspiring School-Based SEN Psychologist to join our team in Enfield. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Educational Psychology or SEN support and will be able to work effectively with children, teachers, and external professionals to provide holistic support.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work collaboratively with SEN staff and teachers to support students with special educational needs.
  2. Assist in identifying students who may require additional psychological support and help implement strategies to improve their emotional, social, and academic outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  4. Provide one-on-one and group support sessions to students facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges.
  5. Support the creation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral management strategies.
  6. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of SEN programs.
  7. Work closely with external specialists, parents, and guardians to ensure the holistic support of each student.
Requirements:
  1. A strong interest in pursuing a career in Educational Psychology or SEN support.
  2. Relevant qualifications in psychology, education, or a related field.
  3. Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEN setting.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  6. Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
  7. Commitment to professional growth and development.
  8. Valid DBS and right to work document.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Successful applicants must undergo background safer recruitment checks.
