Financial Director

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing owner-managed Marketing Agency based in modern offices in Central Manchester. The agency has a great culture, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a dynamic entrepreneurial MD/founder.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a small efficient Accounts function on a Xero platform.
- Manage and coach 2 Assistant Accountants.
- Develop internal controls to ensure timely and efficient financial transactions.
- Produce monthly management accounts with insightful business performance commentary.
- Develop annual budget and regular forecasts.
- Liaise closely with the Auditors to produce the annual statutory accounts.
- Cashflow management/control, including main point of contact with the Bank to meet covenants.
- Close day-to-day contact with the Marketing team to support client tenders and accurate, timely billing of live project campaigns.
This is a tremendous role for a hands-on, technically sound Finance professional with solid all-round Accounts experience who enjoys working in a busy SME business environment. You must be able to demonstrate the energy and enthusiasm to make your mark in this fast-paced, fast-growing SME.
