Maxillofacial Consultant in Head and Neck Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maxillofacial Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contributing to the development of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in microvascular on-call rotas at LRI
- Manage oncology and reconstruction cases
- Supervise and train junior medical staff
- Contribute to clinical sessions and teaching, research, audit, and administration
- Ensure the highest clinical standards in patient management

Person Specification- Full GMC and GDC registration
- MB BS or Equivalent
- Current ATLS certificate
- MRCP/MRCS or equivalent
The successful candidate will be an established consultant or a Specialist Registrar eligible for CCST or within six months of CCST prior to interview. A fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology is desirable but not essential.
