Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team at CLD Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with multiple insurance companies and managing a portfolio of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining relationships with multiple insurance companies to negotiate and obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
  • Cross-selling products to potential customers and managing 30-40 renewals per month.
  • Confirming renewals with customers and ensuring details are still the same and insurance is still relevant for the customer's needs.
  • Negotiating renewals for existing customers and obtaining information and documentation from new and existing clients.
  • Chasing aged debt from your dedicated book of accounts and ensuring credit agreements are signed by the client in good time.
  • Independently managing accounts on a day-to-day basis, including coordinating all services, answering all questions, and resolving problems that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Recent Commercial Account Executive experience across multiple lines/classes of Insurance is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in overall customer service and proven sales track record.
  • Acturis experience is desirable.
  • GCSEs A-C in English and Mathematics.
  • Professional qualifications (Cert CII/Dip/ACII) preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels.
  • High level of organisational ability.
  • High degree of self-discipline and motivation.
  • Problem-solving skills and proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and apply education and professional experience to achieve outstanding results.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment with ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • High level of maturity and stability with an 'optimistic' approach.
