Job Description

At Deutsche Bank, we're seeking a skilled AWS Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with application developers and support teams to design and implement monitoring solutions that detect and alert on failures and performance issues.
  • Work closely with application teams to build and optimize monitoring solutions to ensure uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank's SDLC control policies and maintain a high level of security and integrity in our cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our cloud infrastructure, including physical and virtual platforms, and relational databases.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud infrastructure and site reliability engineering.
Requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in IT in large corporate environments.
  • Demonstrable DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working experience of physical and virtual/cloud platforms, Unix, and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
  • Scripting skills, preferably in Groovy or Bash shell.
  • Experience in Prometheus/Grafana monitoring and log management.
