Support Officer for Extra Care Services

The Senior Care and Housing Support Officer will be responsible for providing practical support and guidance to the front-line care and support team through on-the-job observational supervision.
This includes managing in the absence of other senior staff members and undertaking duty management tasks as defined on a rota basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care and housing services, with experience working with vulnerable adults and individuals with disabilities.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, with knowledge of the Care Standards and CQC inspection framework. Additionally, you should have good awareness of Extra Care Services, both social care and housing management aspects.
We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits.
