CraigTech Solutions. The Roads & Highways Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our client's major roads and highways contractor in Lincolnshire.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in highway contracting, road construction, and surfacing, particularly in highway maintenance and road improvement contracts. The successful candidate will have a high level of contractual (NEC forms of contract) operational and commercial expertise, with the ability to negotiate client and sub-contractor agreements.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead a large team and have P&L accountability * Demonstrate a high level of contractual, operational, and commercial expertise * Negotiate client and sub-contractor agreements * Have a strong background in highway contracting, road construction, and surfacing * Experience in highway maintenance and road improvement contracts * Ability to work with NEC forms of contract * Strong leadership and team management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Ability to work with clients and sub-contractors * Ability to manage budgets and finances * Ability to lead and manage a team of professionals * Ability to work in a team environment * Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders * Ability to manage and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders * Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment * Ability to adapt to new situations and challenges * Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the team * Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders * Ability to manage and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders * Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and adapt to new situations and challenges
