Clinical Lead Health Visitor: Infant Feeding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Health Visitor to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Health Visiting team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality infant feeding services to families in Barnet.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of infant feeding strategies and policies across the Health Visiting team.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to Health Visitors and other professionals on infant feeding best practices.
- Collaborate with the Early Years Teams and other partners to promote best practice in infant feeding and child development.
- Design and deliver training programs and workshops to promote best practice standards in infant feeding.
- Participate in audits, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives to improve infant feeding services.
- Health Visiting/Midwife/Registered Nurse Professional Qualification with entry onto the 3rd part of the NMC Register.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- UNICEF breastfeeding and relationship building training.
- Excellent performance in UNICEF Audits.
- Leadership modules (L6/7).
- UNICEF Train The Trainer facilitator and/or additional training in infant feeding.
- IBCLC qualification.
