Maintenance Team Lead

Grand River Personnel Limited is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join their team in Cambridge. This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in maintenance and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure equipment performance is optimized through the use of OEE and efficiency metrics.
- Provide daily management and support for operational success, including oversight of daily maintenance department activities on assigned shifts.
- Develop and implement training plans for mechanics to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Review and report training effectiveness through performance analytics.
- Manage disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews for maintenance technicians.
- Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines, Company policies, Health & Safety Rules, and all Federal, provincial, and local requirements.
- Valid Millwright license.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient with ERP and production planning software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics.
