Job Overview:
We are seeking a Personal Caregiver to provide one-to-one support to a young boy with limited communication and mobility. As a Personal Caregiver, you will be responsible for facilitating his needs at home, potentially taking him out on outings such as walks and visits to parks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support at home, ensuring the child's safety and well-being
  • Accompany the child on outings, engaging in activities that promote learning and development
  • Ensure food and water safety, following proper handling and preparation procedures
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including changing pads and maintaining hygiene
  • Perform other duties as needed, adapting to the child's unique requirements
  • Maintain a safe environment at all times, anticipating and mitigating potential risks

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs, particularly those with Autism
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the family, sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Full UK driving licence, reliable car for work purposes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, being approachable, trustworthy, and patient
