About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's prestigious Williamson Court development in Lancaster, Lancashire.
As a Care and Support Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later years with dignity and independence. Your duties will include delivering housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans, and supporting and encouraging residents to participate in a wide range of activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
You will also assist residents with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting them on visits, as well as helping with their shopping. Every day will be diverse, and you'll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
About You:
- You will be a warm, friendly individual with a passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
- You will have a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team in a busy work setting.
- You will be driven to deliver high-quality care and support, and have a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.
