Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance team in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management review.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Financial Processes: Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
  • External Relationships: Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
