Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical excellence and providing commercial leadership for high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist one of our Directors with the running of current and pipeline projects in our London office.
  • Provide hands-on design expertise and represent the company to high-profile clients.
  • Run projects, manage a design team, and take fiscal project responsibility.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) with significant experience and knowledge of building design.
  • Extensive experience in retail, leisure, residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors.
  • Proficiency in TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, and FEM design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
