Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Chief Security Strategist to lead the development and implementation of our comprehensive product security strategy. This role will oversee critical cybersecurity areas protecting Anaplan, including application security, infrastructure security, data security, and identity & access management.

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive product security strategy.

  • Manage and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts, providing guidance and direction for their professional growth.
  • Define strategic direction, set objectives, and structure the organization and work in a way that improves the team's impact.
  • Build strong relationships within the product, engineering, and operations teams to implement appropriate security controls.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about the security posture of products and the importance of product security.
  • Develop and enforce security standards based on industry-standard best practices.
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure all applications and platforms are developed with security in mind.
  • Define and utilize metrics to measure efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
  • Support continued compliance with required certification and standards.
  • Conduct hands-on security assessments and code reviews to identify product vulnerabilities and security gaps.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product/platform security, with a proven track record of leadership in designing, implementing, and managing security programs.
  • Strong technical background in application security, security architecture, data security, and identity & access management.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and security principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
