Anaplan is a leading platform for optimizing business decision-making. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Strategist to join our team.

As a Business Development Strategist, you will be responsible for the successful deployment and ongoing health of our customers' Anaplan solutions. You will work closely with our Partners and Professional Services team to ensure that customers are trained and have a successful implementation.

This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a portfolio of customers with a key focus on improving customer ROI and securing contract renewal
  • Be the primary point of contact and trusted adviser for customers throughout their life cycle
  • Work as part of an account team and utilize internal resources to execute the account strategy
  • Identify opportunities within existing customers to grow the Anaplan footprint at accounts
  • Connect customers with other areas of Anaplan as needed, including Product, Support, Community, and Sales, as well as our partner network
  • Guide and support customers in achieving strong adoption
  • Work closely with customers to align Platform Expansion plans with key business objectives
  • Enable customers to achieve business transformation with Anaplan, helping them map business goals to platform capabilities
  • Promote engagement with Anaplan through community usage, user groups, and event participation
  • Educate customers on the Platform Roadmap
  • Run regularly scheduled customer check-ins

Implementation:

  • Collaborate with customers, Partners, and Professional Services team to ensure implementation success and service quality exceeds customer expectations
  • Coach customers to create and manage a delivery model and change management framework supporting their Anaplan journey
  • Support and collaborate with Anaplan partners
  • MEDIATE technical/platform issues with existing implementations
  • Handle customer concerns
  • Ensure proactive ticket deflection
  • Advocate model-building best practices with customers
