Community Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Worker to join our team at Grafham Water Center, working with disabled children and young people and their families across Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide high-quality support to children and young people with varying needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
  2. Develop and maintain professional relationships with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  3. Contribute to the development and delivery of services, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  4. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children and young people or adults with disabilities.
  • Understanding of confidentiality principles and safeguarding.
  • Awareness of oppression and discrimination, with a commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
  • Diploma in Childcare-related subject or willingness to work towards it.
