Senior Product Manager, Ad Technology Leader

ROLE SUMMARY

BBC Studios is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the development of our Ad Technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Ad Product team and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and oversee the development of new ad technology initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with the Ad Product team to develop and manage ad products and services, ensuring seamless implementation and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide technical support to external suppliers and assist in the rollout of new advertising products and services.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing, and External Partners to develop commercial materials and narratives for launching new products and services.
  • Work with the Digital Team to capture Ad Technology requirements and user stories.
  • Support the Ad Product, Operational, and Planning teams in driving adoption, evangelizing good practices, and liaising on technical or system queries.
  • Coordinate with Information Security and Privacy teams on new partner and system onboardings.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical experience in digital ad technology or ad operations.
  • Proficiency in Google Ad Manager and experience with DMPs, SSPs, wrappers, and in-app mediation SDKs.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ad tags, requests, and responses.
  • Knowledge of industry specifications, such as MRAID, VAST, VPAID.
