In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, auditing all areas of financial statements, and taking responsibility for all work allocated. You will also be expected to meet deadlines in an efficient and effective way, communicate with stakeholders, and provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with a strong background in audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment. You will also need to have strong communication skills, experience of supervising others, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing financial statements from clients' trial balance
  • Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review
  • Taking responsibility for all work allocated and communicating with manager and partner as necessary
  • Meeting deadlines in an efficient and effective way
  • Committed to work as part of a team with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed
  • Communicating to all stakeholders with kindness, respect, and supporting your team to succeed
  • Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate
  • Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
  • Strong background in audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong communication skills, experience of supervising others, and organizational skills
Benefits
  • Annual salary \u00a330K-\u00a342K per annum (FTE) depending on experience
  • Salary review annually in July
  • Paid overtime or time off in lieu
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave (prorata) with an additional day after every 4 years' service up to 5 additional days as well as Christmas Eve
