NRL Recruitment is currently working with a client to recruit a skilled Digital Engineer in the Telford area on a permanent basis.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Engineer to work on a project involving MEP coordination, BIM, and digital construction. You will be part of a dynamic project team responsible for delivering drawings and models that meet the project's requirements and follow the BIM Execution Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop stage 5 coordinated MEP models from stage 4 designs.
  • Design and detail MEP service modules for manufacture.
  • Prepare individual service drawings for installation purposes.
  • Update drawings to include client instructions.
  • Manage the uploading of drawings to a common data environment.
  • Address site queries related to drawings/models.
  • Input COBie data into the model environment.
  • Revise models and drawings to reflect as-built status.
  • Create Revit families for selected equipment.
  • Lead and attend coordination meetings with relevant team members.
  • Represent the company at the client's BIM/Digital Asset meetings.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Digital Engineering Lead.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP coordination using Revit.
  • A thorough understanding of MEP systems and their installation.
  • An excellent knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and model checking.
  • A good grasp of IS delivery principles.
  • The ability to assist in pre-sales and sales meetings if needed.
  • Prior experience with 4D and 5D would be advantageous but not essential.
  • The capacity to support the implementation of BIM standards, documentation, and protocols for various customers and projects.

We offer an estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on experience. Interested candidates should submit their updated CV and expected salary.
