NRL Recruitment is seeking a skilled Digital Engineer to join our team in the Telford area on a permanent basis.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves coordinating the MEP aspects of a project, leveraging BIM and digital construction techniques to deliver exceptional results. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all drawings and models meet the project's requirements and adhere to the BIM Execution Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the development of stage 5 MEP models from stage 4 designs.
  • Design and detail MEP service modules for manufacture.
  • Produce high-quality individual service drawings for installation purposes.
  • Update drawings to incorporate client instructions.
  • Manage the uploading of drawings to a common data environment.
  • Address site-related queries regarding drawings and models.
  • Input COBie data into the model environment.
  • Revise models and drawings to reflect as-built status.
  • Develop Revit families for specified equipment.
  • Lead and attend coordination meetings with relevant team members.
  • Represent the company at the client's BIM/Digital Asset meetings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Digital Engineering Lead.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • No less than 4 years of experience in MEP coordination using Revit.
  • A deep understanding of MEP systems and their installation.
  • An advanced knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and model checking.
  • A strong grasp of IS delivery principles.
  • The capability to contribute to pre-sales and sales meetings if necessary.
  • Experience with 4D and 5D would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • The capacity to support the implementation of BIM standards, documentation, and protocols for various customers and projects.

Our estimated salary range for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We invite interested candidates to submit their updated CV along with their expected salary.
