Location: Transport for London

Shift Pattern: Day Shift – 06:00 – 18:00 (4 on 4 off rotation)

Salary: £51,410

Job Role and Purpose

To provide HVAC mechanical reactive services across the Transport for London contract.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Attend to, diagnose, and repair fault assignments in line with agreed contractual SLA.
  2. Ensure suitable spares are available to complete allocated tasks.
  3. Maintain all relevant site documentation.
  4. Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  5. Develop a good working relationship with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  6. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, including wearing uniform and PPE.
  7. Keep up-to-date plant logs.
  8. Ensure plant rooms under responsibility are kept clean and tidy.
  9. Undertake lone working when required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
  10. Action and complete assigned tasks as appropriate.
  11. Awareness and compliance to contractual KPI's/SLA's.
  12. Keep CAFM system up to date and close out Reactive tickets with accurate data captured.
  13. Perform other tasks as directed by the account management team.

Required Skills and Experience


• Hold an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration.


• Hold a CAT 1 F Gas qualification.


• Hold a Full UK Driving License.


• Possess the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.


• Good experience in reactive works and track record in working in Facilities Management.
