Job Title: Mobile HVAC Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our team at Abm. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional mechanical reactive services across our Transport for London contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault Resolution: Ensure that fault assignments are attended to, diagnosed, and repaired in line with agreed contractual SLAs.
  • Spare Management: Ensure that suitable spares are available to complete allocated tasks.
  • Site Documentation: Ensure that all relevant site documentation is held and maintained.
  • Method Statements and Risk Assessments: Prepare and use these documents for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
  • Relationship Building: Develop a good working relationship with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy working environment, including the wearing of uniform and PPE.
  • Plant Maintenance: Ensure up-to-date plant logs are kept and that all plant rooms under responsibility are kept clean and tidy.
  • Lone Working: Undertake lone working when required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
  • Task Completion: Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
  • KPIs/SLAs: Be aware of and comply with contractual KPIs/SLAs.
  • CAFMS System: Keep the system up to date and close out reactive tickets with accurate data captured.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other tasks as directed by the account management team.

Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification: Hold an NVQ/City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration.
  • F-Gas Certification: Hold a CAT 1 F-Gas qualification.
  • Full UK Driving License: Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Critical Thinking: Have the ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.
  • Reactive Works Experience: Have good experience in reactive works and a track record of working in Facilities Management.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £51,410. This figure takes into account the industry standards and requirements for this type of role, based on factors such as location, job description, and company expectations.
