Job Summary
Oxygene Ltd seeks a skilled Theatre Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the success of our performances. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for educating and communicating effectively with performers and the audience, ensuring that all aspects of the stage are managed efficiently.

Duties

• Educate performers on stage etiquette and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure seamless performances.
• Coordinate stage setups, including lighting and sound checks, prior to shows.
• Assist in rehearsals by providing feedback and guidance to dancers.
• Manage the flow of performances, ensuring timely transitions between acts.
• Engage with the audience through public speaking, enhancing their experience during events.
• Maintain a safe and organised stage environment at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a stage management or similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to educate others effectively.
• Experience in dance or performing arts is advantageous.
• Public speaking experience is beneficial for engaging with audiences.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position with a fixed term contract lasting 12 months.
• The hourly rate is £11.44 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and commission pay.
• Working hours are approximately 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
