Job Title: Theatre Production Assistant

Description:

Oxygene Ltd is seeking a skilled Theatre Production Assistant to provide stage management support for our performances. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a stage management or similar role, with strong communication skills and the ability to educate others effectively.

About the Role

  • Coordinate stage setups, including lighting and sound checks, prior to shows.
  • Educate performers on stage etiquette and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure smooth performances.

Responsibilities

  • Stage management: coordinate stage setups, manage the flow of performances, and ensure all aspects of the stage are executed efficiently.
  • Communication: develop strong relationships with performers and team members, communicating effectively to ensure smooth performances.
  • Education: educate performers on stage etiquette and expectations, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a stage management or similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to educate others effectively.
  • Experience in dance or performing arts is advantageous.
  • Public speaking experience is beneficial for engaging with audiences.

Salary & Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
