Job Title: Theatre Production Assistant
Description:
Oxygene Ltd is seeking a skilled Theatre Production Assistant to provide stage management support for our performances. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a stage management or similar role, with strong communication skills and the ability to educate others effectively.
About the Role
- Coordinate stage setups, including lighting and sound checks, prior to shows.
- Educate performers on stage etiquette and expectations.
- Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure smooth performances.
Responsibilities
- Stage management: coordinate stage setups, manage the flow of performances, and ensure all aspects of the stage are executed efficiently.
- Communication: develop strong relationships with performers and team members, communicating effectively to ensure smooth performances.
- Education: educate performers on stage etiquette and expectations, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stage management or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate others effectively.
- Experience in dance or performing arts is advantageous.
- Public speaking experience is beneficial for engaging with audiences.
Salary & Benefits
- We offer a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour.
- 37.5 hours per week.
