Project Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Henry Martin Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, estimates, and forecasts to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality residential projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project success. You will be responsible for:
- Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and forecasts to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
- Procurement: Oversee the procurement process for materials, labor, and subcontractors to achieve value for money.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts and resolve any disputes in accordance with legal frameworks and best practices.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project success.
- Reporting: Prepare financial and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing them with insights and updates.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with residential project experience.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues efficiently.
