About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. As an Income Maximisation Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Team Leadership: Manage a multifunctional team of Income Maximisation Officers across two boroughs, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their best.
  2. Income Recovery: Utilise your expertise in income recovery and maximisation to ensure effective rent collection and reduce the Council's debt.
  3. Benefits Knowledge: Possess a good working knowledge of the welfare benefits system, particularly in relation to homeless applicants.
  4. Front-Line Service: Provide exceptional service to the public, particularly those who are vulnerable, and work collaboratively with other teams and services as well as external partners.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve their goals.

Benefits and Working Conditions

We offer a competitive salary of £44,773 - £54,254 per annum, 40 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), flexible working, and a generous pension plan. As a Disability Confident employer, we are committed to promoting equality and diversity and developing a culture that values differences.
