Crooton Ltd is seeking an experienced Activities Director to lead our resident engagement programme. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging activities that promote residents' wellbeing and independence.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older adults and a talent for creating meaningful experiences. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.
Salary: £14.10 per hour. Our company offers a range of benefits, including free training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging activities for residents, including arts, crafts, and games.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop activity plans that meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in a similar role.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. gerontology, recreation therapy).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
