Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work alongside our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care and treatment to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.
Main Responsibilities
- Work autonomously as a consultant, diagnosing, managing, prescribing, and discharging patients with illness or injury across all age groups.
- Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
- Make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and visiting patients at home.
- Order appropriate investigations (bloods/radiology) and refer patients to secondary care or organize emergency admissions as needed.
- Share administrative tasks, including clinical letters, filing, and pathology results.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Masters degree or Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification or RCN accreditation Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber.
- Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification.
