Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of potential foster carers and prepare reports for fostering panels.
- Match children with suitable foster carers and oversee the placement process.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the well-being of children in foster care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and child care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, placements, and ongoing support.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within fostering or children's services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, children, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and child care.
