Social Work Assistant - Temporary Position

HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Work Assistant to join our team in the Children in Care Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist social workers in ensuring the safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people.
  • Provide direct support to children and families to enable plans to be progressed in a timely manner.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues from various agencies to ensure good communication and safeguarding of children and young people.
  • Contribute to the professional development of yourself and others.
  • Assist in the assessment of need and implementation of plans for children and families.

Requirements

It is essential to have experience working with children, young people, and their families in a social care environment. A DBS check will be required for this role.
