Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in New Barnet. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering activities, promoting children's language and communication skills, and providing pastoral care when required. You will also provide feedback to parents and carers on children's progress and achievements. To be successful in this role, you should have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience working in a mainstream Primary classroom. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering activities
- Support the development of children's language and communication skills
- Provide pastoral care and support to children when required
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers on children's progress and achievements

Requirements:
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream Primary classroom
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Salary: £28,000 per annum
