Job Description:

The company is a leading building and refurbishment contractor that specializes in high-end residential projects in London. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

The Quantity Surveyor will help manage a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential refurbishments in London. The company has an impressive pipeline of work and is offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent support and progression.

The role is unique as you'd be coming in towards the top as QS / commercial director / ops / right-hand individual for one of the directors. You'll be responsible for elements of having to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, but also operating at a high level to drive the business forward.

This means there's a pathway to directorship, opportunities to work with those at the top of this business and create your team, your way.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Cost Reporting
  • Tender and contract documents
  • CVR's
  • Bills of Quants
  • Attend professional and client meetings
  • Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
  • Mitigate commercial risks

Requirements:

  • 5 years + Experience
  • Ideally you will have experience of High End Resi / Prime / Super prime property.
  • Experience of working for a main contractor
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team Management
  • QS Degree
