Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing Refurbishment

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Westminster, working on social housing refurbishment projects.

About the Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing 1-2 social housing refurbishment projects valued between £500k - £2m. You will work closely with our Commercial Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Qualified in quantity surveying (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB)
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in public sector refurbishment projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
