About the Role:The Healthcare Unit Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of patient care coordinators, assisting with patient admissions and transfers, managing patient flow, and maintaining positive guest relations. They will also utilize the TDS computer system for written order entry, report retrieval, and documenting patient information.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of patient care coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist with patient admissions and transfers, ensuring seamless transitions between departments.
- Manage patient flow, prioritizing tasks and communicating effectively with staff.
- Maintain positive guest relations, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and direct staff.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical terminology.
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
