Job Title: Compliance and Risk Junior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance and Risk Junior Analyst to join our team at Howard Kennedy LLP. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the firm's compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the review and approval of Client Due Diligence (CDD) procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse media checks for clients and counter-parties using Accuity, and perform other necessary checks.
  • Develop and maintain client profiles, risk assessments, and high-risk client monitoring.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including filing and completing risk assessments.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to enhance the firm's compliance and risk management capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations and CDD requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
