Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adult Care Specialist to join our team in Adult Social Care Connect Team North Kent as a Designated Senior Officer.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as a deep understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.

  • As a Designated Senior Officer, you will lead the progression of safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and action plans, ensuring effective resource allocation and promoting good practice in safeguarding.
  • You will contribute to the development of high-quality social care services aligned with KCC and multi-agency policies, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to drive positive change.
  • With a focus on individualized care and support, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for adults at risk.

The estimated salary for this position is around £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
