About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in St Albans. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities in all aspects of their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities in their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in activities and hobbies that promote independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes the rights and dignity of individuals.

Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Manual driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
