Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at Two Saints. As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming and friendly presence for clients arriving at the service
  • Offer informal support and a listening ear to clients
  • Respond to incoming calls and manage client and visitor interactions
  • Monitor the service and surrounding areas, addressing any safety concerns
  • Conduct regular visual checks and fire checks, reporting any defects
  • Perform other tasks as directed by staff, referring issues to relevant personnel
  • Maintain clean and tidy communal areas
  • Provide detailed handovers to day staff, including client safety and support information
  • Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and policies
  • Attend supervision, appraisal, and training as required
  • Provide basic First Aid assistance until help arrives
  • Triage out-of-hours issues and contact the on-call manager as needed

Requirements:

  • Clear verbal and written English
  • Good IT and keyboard skills
  • Polite, assertive manner, and ability to self-motivate
  • Passion for working in a client-facing role
