We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Systems Manager to join our team at Just Group plc.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing Oracle EPM systems, with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and administration of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud application and any other EPM platform(s).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Implementation: Ensure that our EPM software is optimized to support the organization's financial planning, cost-allocation, budgeting & forecasting, and narrative reporting processes.
  2. Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the EPM Cloud systems, including user and system administration, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  3. Process Improvement: Continually identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and reporting processes.
  4. Data Integration: Ensure seamless data integration between Oracle EPM Cloud and other enterprise systems, including ERP and CRM applications.
  5. User Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively use the EPM Cloud applications.
  6. Close Process Support: Support the finance team during the monthly/quarterly/annual close process.
  7. Financial Analysis: Assist with financial data analysis and provide business insights.
  8. Project Management: Manage EPM-related projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  9. Vendor Liaison: Liaise with Oracle and other vendors to resolve system issues, apply updates, and stay informed about new features and best practices.
Audit & Compliance
  1. Compliance: Ensure that the EPM Cloud systems comply with organizational policies and industry regulations, and implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive data.
  2. Regulatory Updates: Plan, implement, and maintain regulatory/statutory updates to Oracle EPM Cloud.
  3. Audit Support: Support annual audit requirements and ensure compliance with UK SOX and Financial Control framework.
  4. Change Management: Ensure all development is delivered in-line with full change management methodologies.
  5. Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation ensuring it is regularly reviewed and stored for all solutions developed and all operational processes.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Significant experience in managing Oracle EPM systems or similar financial systems, with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.
  2. Certification: Oracle EPM Certification highly desirable.
  3. Financial Systems Experience: Must have relevant financial systems technical and development experience, ideally gained in financial services sector and/or Treasury function.
  4. Technical Expertise: Expert technical/functional experience of Oracle EPM Cloud.
  5. Implementation Knowledge: Expert knowledge of implementing and running Oracle EPM Cloud.
  6. Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL, data integration tools, and other relevant technologies.
  7. E-Business Suite Knowledge: Technical/functional/development knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite desirable.
  8. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.
